Overview

Ameriprise Financial allows you to grant access to your accounts by creating an Authorized User. This is done through the Ameriprise Financial secure site, where you can add a new user with their own login credentials. You will be setting up a user that can securely access account data and initiate transactions without sharing your primary login.

Setup steps

1. Navigate to user management

Sign in to the Ameriprise Financial secure site.Navigate to the user management section to add a new user.
Initiate the process to add an Authorized User.Enter the required details as prompted by the interface.
Set the appropriate permissions for the Authorized User.

Important notes

If no account access is assigned, the user will see no data.
Use one user per account if separate connections are required.
