Overview

BNY Mellon allows you to grant access to your accounts by creating an authorized user. This is done through TreasuryEdge, where you can add a new user and assign their access privileges. Entitlements are grouped based on job function and user function, saving time during the setup process. You will be setting up a user that can securely access account data and initiate transactions without sharing your primary login.

Setup steps

1. Navigate to user management

Sign in to TreasuryEdge.Navigate to the user management section.
Click the button to add a new user.Enter the required details as prompted by the interface.
Our team will provide the exact details to use for this user. Please enter them exactly as provided to ensure the setup completes successfully.
Select the account or accounts this user should access.
This must be done for each account individually. If skipped, the user will not see any accounts.
Assign the user’s entitlements by selecting the appropriate job function and user function categories.
If you want to enable Waycore to draft transactions on the portal, you should enable payments, approvals, and limits correspondingly.
Review the setup and submit to complete.

Important notes

If no account access is assigned, the user will see no data.
A Security Administrator is required to manage user entitlements. Security tokens along with RSA Adaptive Authentication (RSA AA) may be required as additional safeguards. BNY Mellon also maintains active oversight with dual control for transaction originators.
Use one user per account if separate connections are required.
