Overview

Midwest Bank allows you to grant access to your accounts by creating a Organization User. This is done through Business Online and Cash Management, where you can:
  • add a new user with their own login credentials
  • choose which accounts they can access
  • define what they are allowed to see and do, such as viewing balances or initiating payments
You will be setting up a user that can securely access account data and initiate transactions without sharing your primary login.

Important notes

If no account access is assigned, the user will see no data.
When creating a user, default permissions are automatically assigned. The Admin must select ‘Enable accounts’ and give the user access to at least one account to create the user. Additionally, there are multiple specific permissions (e.g., ‘View ACH’, ‘Initiate ACH’, ‘Work Positive Pay’) rather than broad ‘View Only’ or ‘Full Access’ roles. Users must be invited via ‘Send email invite’ or from their profile.
Use one user per account if separate connections are required.
