Overview

Northern Trust Company allows you to grant access to your accounts by creating a user. This is done through Treasury Passport, where a Security Administrator can add a new user, edit their demographics, and assign them to specific profiles that define their permissions.

Setup steps

1. Navigate to user management

Sign in to Treasury Passport.On the Treasury Passport menu, under User Administration, select Users.
Click New.Enter the required details as prompted by the interface:

Click Save. A message that user demographics have been saved appears and an ID is assigned.
Under Profile Membership, click a profile link.Click the Member check box next to a profile to either select or unselect that profile.Click Save.
On the Treasury Passport menu, under User Administration, select Pending Approval.Select Approve for each individual profile change or membership addition.Click Save.

Important notes

If any memberships require secondary approval, Pending appears in red in the Members column. Wire Transfer and ACH applications require approvals, whereas other applications may not.
Use one user per account if separate connections are required.
