Overview

Canadian Tire Bank allows you to grant access to your accounts by creating an Authorized User. This is done through Canadian Tire Bank Online Banking, where you can add a new user with their own login credentials. You will be setting up a user that can securely access account data and initiate transactions without sharing your primary login.

Setup steps

1. Navigate to user management

Sign in to Canadian Tire Bank Online Banking.From the top navigation, navigate to the user management section.
Click the button to add a user.Enter the required details as prompted by the interface.
Set the user’s permissions according to the available options in the interface.
Review the setup and click the confirmation button to complete.

Important notes

If no account access is assigned, the user will see no data.
Canadian Tire Bank primarily focuses on retail credit cards and High Interest Savings Accounts. True commercial or business banking features with granular delegated user access may be limited or unavailable. The steps above are generalized based on standard online banking portals.
Use one user per account if separate connections are required.
